OUR STORY
Krithikk Engineering and Trading Co. was built around a single purpose: to give South India’s process industries a gearbox partner they could trust — not a trader who resells parts, but an engineering team that diagnoses, rebuilds, and stands behind the work.
What started as a repair workshop in Coimbatore has grown into a full in-house transmission overhaul facility — equipped with up to 20-tonne EOT crane, a covered shop floor, and the capability to handle drives across the industrial spectrum.
Every job is formally scoped before disassembly, rebuilt to OEM tolerances, and warranted on completion. As the authorised Kirloskar Pneumatic (KPCL) channel partner for South India, we supply genuine OEM components and manufacturer-backed service directly to our clients.
Today, as Krithikk Transmissions India Private Limited, we work with JSW Steel, Chettinad Cement, Bannari Amman Sugars, TANFAC Industries, Revathi Equipment, and Pioneer Wincon.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Our Coimbatore facility is built to handle complete gearbox overhauls without stepping outside — from disassembly and defect mapping through precision machining, gear cutting, and final assembly.
Upto 20-Tonne EOT Crane
Three crane lanes — 5T, 10T, and 20T — handling every unit that comes in, regardless of size.
Gear Hobbing, Shaping & Grinding
Teeth cut in-house on dedicated machines. In addition two partner firms to handle more work load with precision. No sub-contract.
Turning & Milling
Shaft journals and housing bores re-machined in-house to OEM dimensions.
Shaft Restoration by Welding
Worn shafts built back up by welding, re-machined to OEM dimensions. Component life extended without replacement.
Job Tracking by IGB / WM Number
Each gearbox assigned a unique job number. One engineer responsible per unit — material location and stage progress tracked throughout.

Spent over two decades at Shanthi Gears — one of India’s foremost gearbox manufacturers — holding roles across assembly, marketing, on-site servicing, overhaul, and fault diagnosis before founding KETC now Krithikk Transmissions. That breadth of experience across the full gearbox lifecycle, from the factory floor to field service, is what the company is built on. In 30+ years across cement, steel, sugar, power, chemical, and wind sectors, — very few gearbox problems remain unseen.

KRITHIKK D
Holds B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from PSG iTech — with final-year research in gear geometry and load distribution for high strength-to-weight ratios through additive manufacturing — followed by an MSc in Management with Specialisation in Entrepreneurship at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick (UK). The academic path was deliberate: built to bring both engineering depth and business acumen to the next chapter of Krithikk Transmissions.
